 Hey everyone this is my results on the 100 second times table challenge. Its a fun game to get your brain going for the day. 

WEEKLY REFLECTION

 hey everyone how was your week. 

I wasnt at school for Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday i was cooking with the head chef at a culinary school.Ii had so much fun and learnt heaps, of new tips and cooking skills. 

One thing I enjoyed was cooking caramel creme and it was delicious even though it took a long time to make it was worth it.

One thing I success in was making a salad by working my way up to  the high stander they wanted.

One thing I found challenging was trying to get back into school work and get as much as I could do done in two days.

One thing I learned was that bread and tomatoes blunt your knife.

One thing I am excited for next week would have to be zones athletics because I can see my friends from other schools. 

I feel I have shown aroha by hugs and helping others. 

WEEKLY REFLECTION

 Hey everyone! How was your week??

One thing that I enjoyed this week, was doing the box and whiskers task with Miss Lawless it was a very easy task to get a hang of.

The one thing that was a success was my feelings wheel that we did, it was just our emotions and we drew them for RE. 

Something I found challenging was PE. Because Im not very good at PE.

Something I learned was my Box and Whiskers which is a level 5 task and our class nailed it.

Something Im looking forward to next week would be tech beacause we are making boxes at tech with Miss green and we are designing them.

I feel I have used aroha this week with my actions.

Weekly reflection

 Hey everyone how was your week one? mine was mixed up but we still had a great time. 

What I enjoyed this week was having a different teacher and split classes. 

Something that I successed  in this week was finishing my work and getting on top of everything.

What was something I found challenging was trying to get all my work done in a fast amount of time.

One thing that I learnt this week was how to write in second person.

Something Im looking forward to is getting all my work done. 

I feel like I have shown aroha this week in my behaviour.

THE ARTS

Hey everyone this is my work on the arts.For the term most of our focus is going to be on the arts.  Here is some work that got us started.

After a 13 hour workday on Saturday doing spat in the shed I was shattered. I was working for the family business forking spat off the trucks and packing into 10kg bags. Having an early 8:30 morning start, and a two hour lunch break at one, I slept through my lunch break so I was ready for Saturday night. After lunch I walked over to the shed and saw everyone starting up. I hung up my stuff and got straight into it. Going hard for the next six hours and about six cans of sprite I was broken. I helped pack the last of the bags into the truck, and went and sat down. After I went had a rest I caught a ride with my aunty Toni and  aunty Abby,  They dropped me off at my nanas to go have dinner at my nanas.

Then Sunday comes  I was ready to make pancakes and have lots of laughs with my cousins. Our nana was taking the Lauren and Bella to the movies, I was in charge of Landyn whos 2. When nana went left we said good bye and went and  watched movie me and Landyn watched the emoji movie. Then we went outside and hung out with our poppa. I went to the kitchen and made macaroni and cheese which is Landyns favorite. We ate and my mum called asking if we wanted to go to the beach. I say yes and she arrives minutes later.

 We get ready and head to the beach. When we hoped out we ran down to the beach, we go to cross the river dad carries Landyn across the water, and we run up the beach with the dog. When we get to our spot we made sand castles and got Landyn to day some new words like shell,Kelly,Indi and Sheree. When we are done we head to the shop and get ice cream. 

As we drove home we chatted and ate out ice cream Landyn got vanilla and I got a oreo icecream cookie thing it was yum. When we got to nanas we played kicks while they came home. When nana and the girls got home they brought us McDonald's. I ate that really fast then we all head our separate ways.

kia ora  everyone i cant believe its week 9 but happy Maori week. Our task was to take this app called piskel. we had to either make a gif or a sticker of maui. I loved this task it was hard at the start but i had my friend piper give me some tips.

SOCIAL JUSTICE WEEK

 

Hey everyone last week we made a slide deck on social justice week. This was a fun task to do. Even though it is a ruff time to go through for family's that have lost someone it is good to remember them. thank you for looking at my slide deck.

Weekly reflection

 I really enjoyed this week. We had a good week with doing art and working hard. One of my successes this week was the art work for Te reo  we  were making  green stone, it was really easy.  I found challenging was the contract and trying to finish as fast as I can to get free time. I learned how to do line graphs which took a while. I looking forward to paint and finish my green stone. I feel I showed pono in my behaviour this week.

hey everyone this is my work on poetry we have been learning about spoken word  poetry it's been really fun with my classmates we had some videos that we had to watch, and I pick the one with the girls that where making there  statement  about Maori culture. this task was to show us what the spoken word is. hope you like it

Weekly reflection

     hey everyone this is how my week has gone.

On Monday we did maths work and RE. for maths we were learning how to use letters and numbers. It took a while to get use to it but im getting the hang of if. For RE we are making info graphics we took many questions and answered them  on a doc we used a app named pic to graph.

on Tuesday we did maths and literacy and had our old teacher we played a game and had a good catch up with her.

on Wednesday we went to tech it was fun because we are making boxes then we just finished off work that were must do's.  

On Thursday we did our contracts and finished off work again, and had a game of non stop soft ball with Kakapo. 

and today we did some more must do's and did art work i hope you all had a great Daffodil Day.

hi everyone this is my work for cyber smart today we have been given a task with our partner to do communication work. it was really fun we where given pictures and had our partener withthe real photo we had to listen to the saying and try figure it out.

For this task we learning how to do personification. so what we did was a story on our desk so here it is. I am a old cracked hard surface, I have holes and a a blue top. I seem smooth but no. Im very tidy I dont like being, I act silly by falling over. when i hear the students run in I get scared, but I love having the kids around. when we get started I get nervous to see who works on me. I feel crushed because kids are drawing and working on me. hope you like it
